This item was actually taken from someone else's garbage and given to me as a gift. Uhhh... thanks? I kept the old thing for quite some time, sort of hoping it would miraculously disappear. The more I stared at it though, the more it started to scream potential. This is what I finally came up with:

I cleaned it up and reconstructed the edges with particle board and Celluclay paper compound to make a solid drawer. I sponge-painted the entire thing in 3 shades of periwinkle and sealed that with glitter-infused lacquer. Then I added the beaded fringe (my favorite part) and several star-shaped Swarovski crystals. Crystal rhinestones also line parts of the frame. Lastly, I inserted the mirror and a custom, expensive (x_x) piece of textured glass for a stunning icy look on the tabletop.
