Elfen Lied - Nana

Model: Kat Photographers: Manny Debuted: Ohayocon 2007

Inspiration: Nana is my favorite character in my favorite series. There was no question about cosplaying her. Since I couldn't run around the con naked in shackles and covered in blood, I had to choose the next best outfit, and I thought this was it.

Construction:

Wig: Originally a "perky" (light pink) Lulu wig from Amphigory.com, it was dyed with FW ink, trimmed and styled.

Horns: Cast in polyurethane resin and worn on an elastic cord.

Contacts: Psych! That's Photoshop.

Hoodie: This was tricky. I bought a white hoodie at Target, cut off the arms and waistband with a seam ripper, dyed them with RIT fabric dye, and sewed them back on. The Pacman applique is a piece of felt and the black detail is puff paint.

Shorts: Went the easy route and bought some workout pants, hemming them into shorts.
